Thanks for the kind words about Rebel, and yeah I enjoy the blog, but as a trivia host and buff feel the need to point out that NO TEAM has ever won 3 straight Super Bowls. Despite what you learned at the Full Shilling
The Packers were the champions of the NFL in the 1965 season and the Bills were the champions of the AFL. there was no Super Bowl then.
Prior to the 1966 season the two leagues agreed to have an annual championship game and The Packers won the first two of those games in 1967 and 68. It wasn’t until the 3rd championship game won by the Jets that the term Super Bowl was used and it was retroactively applied to 2 previous games. The Packers won Super Bowls I & II but not 3 straight. In fact only the Dolphins and Bills have ever been to 3 straight Super Bowls (The Fins lost VI and won VII & VIII and the Bills lost 4 straight XXV-XXVIII)
OK that is enough nerdiness for me today, now I am in the mood for trivia tonight…lucky I have your weekly schedule to tell me where I can get a game, but now I got to get a team together.
