What's that weird cat thing?
One of our teammates doodled it one night while we were playing trivia. Since we love cats, we decided to make it our blog's logo. Sure, it has nothing to do with trivia, but we think it gives our blog a little purrrsonality.
How do you decide where to play trivia?
We try to mix in old favorites with new places we haven't reviewed yet. We're always looking for a new place to play, so email us or leave a comment if you have a suggestion.
What are your favorite trivia bars?
Crew, State, Harrigan's, Rocks, Schoolyard, Finley Dunne's, Globe, Bucktown Pub
We’ve been going to Crew for the better part of the last 4 months for trivia – only missed one or two Mondays. It is so well-run and entertaining.
We absolutely LOVE it…but we’ve decided to stop going for a while. Why? Because the same team wins EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. We’re usually in 2nd or 3rd place, but we just can’t get over the jump and don’t know anyone that would cover our blind spots. Given the makeup of the Pubstumpers questions, the same blind spots kill us every week. So it’s time (for now) to move on. Surely we’ll be back after branching out – no one said we only had to go to one Trivia Night!
As a side note: after 6 months in the big bad city, I’m realizing that no one can possibly come close to Andy Bob and Smackdown.

I thought the 70s were long gone, but perhaps this is a revival of that era?
